I’m really excited about the release of Keyword Gem. This new keyword research tool is unlike your average keyword tool like Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai. You see the main problem with these tools, and I’m not saying that they are bad is that they mainly rely on scraping results from the Google keyword research tool to get you your results and find you your niche keywords.

The downside of using the Google keyword tool if you have not already found out for yourself is that everybody is getting the same results returned to them and everybody is competing for the same long tail keywords that the Google keyword tool is giving to them. This is a big reason why the market is getting so saturated with blogs and sites in every niche.

It’s virtually impossible these days to find an exact domain match for any keyword found by the Google keyword research tool or for that matter Market Samurai or Micro Niche Finder. Not only can you not find an exact match domain, but it’s getting harder and harder everyday to find an untapped niche market that can easily be dominated with out having to do a major back link ans SEO campaign to get above the fold on the first page. That’s where the money’s at. If you can’t rank above the fold on page one of Google then you might as well just give up.

This is where Keyword Gem comes into to play. This amazing keyword scraper can give you access to millions of keywords that you’ll never find using any of the current keyword research programs and the Google keyword research tool. How is this possible? When you type a keyword into Google it also begins to suggest to you popular search terms in a drop down box. You can do this for every letter of the alphabet and it will return the ten most popular long tail search terms associated with the keyword you enter.

A majority of these keywords do not appear in the Google keyword research tool results. Also if you have not figured it out by now the Google keyword research tools traffic results are terribly inaccurate and most of the time you might think you have found a high traffic keyword but it’s a dud.

I really hope that they limit the membership to this tool, because I want to keep all of these search terms for myself. If you having a difficult time finding niches I really suggest jumping on this opportunity and scrape up all the keywords that you can. Not only will you get thousands of exact match domains available in .com’s, but you’ll also have a virtually goldmine of untapped niches that nobody is going after right now.

Keyword Gem will take your AdSense earnings to a whole new level if you get in on this right now!

I really thought that Market Samurai was as good as it gets, but Keyword Gem is about to take the keyword research game to a whole new level.

As it says on their sales page, it’s no magic bullet but it’s pretty close. LinkAloha is a new automated back link service which is the simplest and most straightforward system I have seen on the market yet. I have tried many back link building programs and services in the past, but the major drawback of a lot of them is that you need to write up articles or blog posts and then spin them using an article spinning program in order to submit to a huge blog network and get the back links.

LinkAloha on the other hand utilizes a program which automatically creates forum profiles, enters in your anchor text and website of choice in the profile and then pings the profile to ensure that your new back link is indexed and counted by the search engines. It really is one of the easiest systems to set up that I have seen yet. You basically just have to create a new campaign, enter in what anchor text you want and web url and then tell it how many links a day you want it to post and that’s it!

LinkAloha is the closest thing possible to a true set and forget type link building system.

LinkAloha is brought to you by Koen Berkenbosch who is the creator of BookmarkWiz which is another great tool for automating social bookmark account creation and posting.

Tip: If you really want to get the most out of your LinkAloha back links, then you should take all of your forum profiles which you can download after they are made and bookmark them on all the major sites with BookmarkWiz. This will really ensure that all of your links are indexed quickly and also give you some extra deep linking juice!

Here are some of the benefits of a LinkAloha membership:

• The links come from a variety of IP addresses: It’s a fact that search engines like Google love IP diversity. If all of your links come from the same IP, their weight will not be worth the same in the eyes of Google because it will indicate un-natural or man-made linking patterns.

• The back links come from very high PR websites: A majority of the sites that LinkAloha creates profiles on are page rank 4-8 sites meaning that these back links will take more priority and have more power then sites with low page rank. It’s better to have a few powerful high page rank back links as opposed to having a few hundred low page rank back links which don’t carry as much linking power.

• Leaves no footprint: The technology that LinkAloha is built on lets you build natural links that drip over time relevant to your niche. It’s hosted on a network of cloud servers which utilizes proxy rotation for complete privacy and leaves absolutely no footprint that search engines can pick up on that would indicate fake link building.

Here’s the deal. Right now they are offering a special 50% off all link building packages. They have starter packs that build 250 links per month and all the way up to the Platinum pack which lets you build 10,000 links per month. What’s great too is that you can sell your own link building service and use LinkAloha to build them. Currently there are 250 spots open and they will close the doors after all spots have been filled up. I’ve been testing this for over a month now and it really works! You can download campaign reports of all the profile links it builds and more and more new sites are being added to the database every month! Hurry and grab a membership spot in LinkAloha before they fill up all there spots and close the doors forever.

Total AdSense earnings for June 2010: $153.95

June was a really bad month as I expected it would be with the Google update and crackdown on micro sites. I just ran a rank checker on all my sites and the good news is most of them are ranking in the top 10 on Bing and Yahoo, but all of my Google sites have been sandboxed and wiped off the first page!

As a result of this new Google update my AdSense revenue has dropped nearly 50%!

Now I was already thinking about giving up on putting all of my time and energy into building micro niche sites and only having AdSense as my one income source. It’s just way to risky to build a business model around an account which can at Google’s will be wiped out completely and have your entire income gone in one day. It’s already happened once before. Back in the day when you could build thousands of pages with scraper programs and stuff your pages with keywords for easy rankings, people were making thousands a day until Google changed the entire way it ranked pages and wiped out many accounts overnight by de-indexing thousands of pages from the index.

Moving forward I’m going to be building huge authority sites only and really writing great content that will be natural link bait instead of having to build artificial links in great numbers just to rank poorly written content.

I really feel like this is the way to go. It’s better that you really put the effort into writing great content and in return you won’t have to spend so much time getting it ranked where you need it. You have to remember that Google wants to deliver the most relevant results to the end user and by concentrating more putting more effort into your research and writing you will in effect have pages which spread like a virus on their own all across the web.

Well it’s has appeared to have finally happened. The ride is over and Google has cracked down on micro niche and Xfactor style websites in their index. Now I can’t say this for sure 100% and all sites are not effected, but I can say for sure that since the update last month most of my sites have taken a big dive and AdSense earnings are half of what they were.

What is really strange is that one of my newer sites I started to build had what I thought to be a higher quality of content as opposed to poorly written content or just poor product descriptions that most people implement to build there sites with.

Now as far as back links are concerned they are for the majority coming from the same spots. What even stranger is that my sites that I started out with which I solely linked only with EzineArticles links seem to be doing the best in the search engines and benefiting the most from those links which don’t have much IP diversity. So is IP diversity really that important as everyone preaches in SEO? That’s the main reason I abandoned the Xfactor method as far as link building because he relied solely on Ezine and GoArticles for back links.

I going to change things up a bit. If I’m going to be building all these sites I’d rather build a big authority site on a topic I have interest in and can write about as opposed to outsourcing some five page site with mediocre content and building lots of poor back links to compensate for a few powerful ones.

My verdict on the micro niche sites is this. Keep building them but only for short term income and fast profits for selling. I think they can still be valuable to flip and sell niche blogs as opposed to wasting your time building them up over time and trying to maintain above the fold rankings on page one.

Look at it this way, if you really spend the time to create some excellent content, people will link to you and make your job easier. Only poorly written content needs to be manipulated by people to rank high as it is not valuable to the end user.

Total earnings for May 2010: $288.47

May was a good month considering that not much was accomplished as far as updating sites and building back links. I put a lot of time this month in to building an old auto insurance blog that I have not touched in a long time. I really don’t know why I did not stick with the insurance niche, it really has some of the highest payouts. Even though it’s harder to rank for keywords inside of the insurance related niche, when you do get a click it’s well worth it!

I’m kind of getting tired of putting a lot of effort into building five page sites that rank relatively easy but really only earn maybe $5 a day and that’s a gem in my collection which are few a far between. I’m also starting to realize that although I could in theory put up 300 sites, but there is no way I’m going to have the free time to promote them and maintain their rankings while still working 40+ hours a week. I really need to focus my efforts on automation as much as possible and building a long term sustainable network of sites which are not at risk for potentially being flagged as spam or de-indexing.

It’s time now to put all of the noise and hype behind me. I think the number one reason why people fail to find success with making money online with Internet marketing is because they are always looking for the perfect system or step-by-step plan. I mean how many times can you buy an ebook or video or purchase a spot in a membership site telling you how to build a blog, get traffic to it and monetize it. I think the trick is to just learn the basics and then just go out on your own and do your own experiments and create and implement your own systems till you find something that works for you. Besides I’d rather build a website that revolves around something that I actually have interest in and can write really valuable content which will be liked by visitors and also will be in turn valued highly in the search engine robot’s eyes.

So that’s it for me! No more courses, ebooks, videos and membership sites. The only money I’m spending is on automation software, outsourcing and business expenses to keep this thing going and operating in the black! Now I really have to make the decision if I want to go ahead and continue to build micro niche sites. I think it might be worth it for short term income and I can always flip them for quick cash, but from here on in I really want to focus on really creating sites that are valuable to the user and not some spammy site made to get ranked quick and dropped a month later. The only downside to my auto insurance blog is that it seems like I have to put a lot more work into it to get it to rank and make money as opposed to throwing up a niche site.

The point is this. If you spend all of your time trying to figure out how to build the perfectly optimized blog post and what Wordpress plugins you need and where the newest place to get back links from, then you’ll never move forward. It’s time to put all the guru’s in the closet and become one yourself. Create your own systems for driving traffic, SEO and marketing and the results will come quicker.

What sets this apart from the hundreds of other keyword tools and services out there? The answer is total automation! Now don’t get me wrong tools like Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai which I love are still great and I still use them, but the one drawback is everything you do with these tools is manually done and it takes up a lot of your time which is something I don’t have the luxury of having a lot of and I don’t want to pay to outsource my keyword research.

Magic Niche Finder is very basic at it’s core and acts much like Micro Niche Finder and Market Samurai, but it can run on complete autopilot! This tool is going to come in very handy for anybody building those XFactor style micro niche blogs and now having a hard time finding untapped niches with all of the current market saturation building up in the micro niche world.

It’s really simple to run and it’s extremely powerful. You basically enter a seed keyword, brainstorm some with the built in brainstorm function, or import your own list. The tool will then go out and automatically build you a list with thousands of keywords with the criteria you choose and then it will on autopilot figure out the competition of each one which you can then filter from lowest to highest. It will also return AdWord cost estimates.

What’s great about this is that it can all be done without you actually having to sit by the computer and it can be done with no proxies, but you have the option to input a proxy list. It also has a built in Decaptcher.com account that you can link to your Decaptcher account and not have to sit and enter captchas every minute.

Overall Magic Niche Finder is very simple and does what it says which is finding thousands of untapped low competition niches on auto pilot. Future updates are going to have an exact domain search as well. Honestly I have tried tools like IM Eye which basically do the same thing and cost $150 a month. Why pay a monthly fee when you can pay one time for Magic Niche Finder and get the same service? Also every copy and license sold provides the user with their own unique keywords so everyone is not sharing the same database like other services such as IM Eye which is better for the AdSense publisher who is looking for niches without hundreds of other competitors.

If you would like to find out more about Magic Niche Finder and purchase the software then Click Here for Magic Niche Finder and forget about buying any other keyword research tool ever again or paying any more monthly fees!

Total earnings for April 2010: $258.36

Well April was a pretty lazy month, I got no new sites launched. The good news is earnings are steady and pretty close to March totals so I’m happy with the results. What should be learned from my laziness this month is if you take no action you get no results, so if you want to earn more from AdSense then your going to have to put the work in and scale up your operation.

Part of the reason for my reluctance to put up new sites was dreading the time it was taking me to do keyword research and find profitable new micro niches. Well I got a new tool that’s taken care of that for me, but I am starting to think I should spend some more time building broader sites rather then put all of my eggs into micro niches. I am definitely seeing saturation start to kick in and now might be the time to get out or slow down because I’d rather have a couple of mega sites that rank well over time then take the chance with 100’s os micro sites that could possibly be de-indexed.

It’s also getting very difficult to find exact match domain names for these sites because of the saturation, but to be honest my best earning sites are not exact match domains for the keyword and have words added at the end of the domain after the keywords.

I’m going to start implementing AdSense click fraud prevention scripts on my sites because I’m starting to get nervous about some sites that get a lot of clicks out of nowhere and seem to be coming from the same IP. Also with all of these new competitors in the micro niche arena, it’s only a matter of time before a competitor comes along and tries to get my account banned, which makes no sense because it’s site rankings that will earn your more money and not getting your competition banned. If your evil enough to do this you not only will risk potential legal action from Google and publishers, but your competition will just find other ways to monetize and still outrank you anyway.

When I start to implement this new AdSense Click Lock script it’s also going to let me experiment with some other ways to monetize my sites with links from Amazon, ClickBank or Yahoo.

I just got finished launching four more sites at the start of May. Going to start working on my mega sites this weekend. I’m thinking about going with some insurance niches, because from past experience with other sites they always payout very high in the $3-4 per click range.

I have been pretty much been trying to figure out ways I can free up more time and automate more tasks in the process of researching, building and launching my micro niche AdSense websites.

So far the most time consuming and energy wasting task that I have had up until this point which I was not outsourcing had been doing keyword research. I now have a new tool which I have been using instead of Micro Niche Finder which literally finds thousands of niches with low competition on auto-pilot! I’ll be announcing this tool shortly.

So now I have my keyword research, website content and back link building wither outsourced or semi-automated. The actual process of building the sites and putting them together is quite fast once I have my content ready and written. I’ve been using a Wordpress theme called ClickBump with a special plug-in that installs the site and configures it with a click of a button, so basically now all I have to be concerned with and what takes up my time is link building.

I’ve been searching for new link building networks to juice my sites up with and have come across Brad Callen’s new service called SEO Link Vine. Now up until now I’ve just been doing some social bookmarking with Bookmark Wiz and using Backlink Solutions as my main link building network.

I’m really excited about SEO Link Vine. I just got done submitting my first spun article on a brand new site recently indexed. What’s really cool about SEO Link Vine that I have not seen in other similar blog link building networks is the ability to track your articles and see where they are published as well as details on how your own sites are ranking in the SERPS and the specific keywords which you target and where they are ranking. They also allow you to submit your own blogs to the network so that you can receive lots of fresh unique content from other members. Powerful one way back links from thousands of blogs on unique IP’s and fresh content for you own sites, and the ability to track published articles and your sites SERP rankings? For only $47 a month I think that’s a great deal. Now only time will tell if this network can live up to the power of Backlink Solutions. I already like it better because BLS limits you to 1000 links a month and SEO Link Vine is unlimited, plus you can spin your anchor text and URL’s to hit up every page on your site for some serious internal deep linking.

I’m hoping this is what I need to give my sites that extra link juice to get those above the fold rankings on page one that we all are desperately trying to obtain and hold. I suggest you go over and check out SEO Link Vine. They might be raising the price soon and it’s really cheap right now. I’ll keep you posted on my progress with this new network and how it’s doing with my AdSense sites.

Total Earnings for March 2010: $279.83

This was my best month ever. My income has been steadily increasing and my traffic and CTR are improving with time. It’s now time to scale this operation up and start getting a lot more sites launched while I tweak my old sites and try to improve the traffic and earnings on them. I try not to touch my old sites that much because this is all about set and forget hands free maintenance, but it’s always important that you have a steady stream of back links linking to your sites from unique IP addresses. I’ve discovered that some sites however due to extreme lack o competition can get by with just a few links and maintain a steady first page Google ranking.

Now here is a couple of things that I have noticed……

My best performing sites are my first launches that have all original content and just a few back links from some Ezine Articles. The second batch of sites that I launched were based on a more lazy approach and were thrown up fast with some dupe content, auto blogging plug-ins and back links from social bookmarking websites and blog networks. These later sites are earning money but not as much as my initial sites with all original content and stronger back links. Based on this I started going back to an all original content format, but I don’t think that getting links just from one IP source is the best strategy. It’s my theory that the original content will outperform any sites with dupe content, even if they have more back links. Even though these sites will cost a lot more to launch, they will be profitable much faster and earn more in the long term.

Do not fear the Google dance!

I’ll have to admit that this is a very dangerous business. Your basically putting all of your fate in the hands of Google. Any major change in the algorithms and your sites can all be de-indexed, banned, rank beyond 100 or worse you can get your account banned. I’ve had sites de-indexed and then show up again. I have had sites rank first page then drop to 300 and then show up on page one again. From what I can see is that as long as you deliver Google what they want which is great unique content you’ll be ok. If you rank well right off the bat it’s a good indication that your site will rank well in the future even if your rankings fluctuate in the beginning. I think it’s just big G’s way of feeling you out and seeing if you are a spammer or not.

I am going to start experimenting with different site formats and see which ones draw more traffic and earn more. Next I want to go a little broader and add more content and have a tight internal silo structure which I’ll talk about in my next post. If my first sites are an indication of the direction I should be going in I think this format might be the most ideal to stick with.
